Proven CAF solutions for onshore and offshore power transformers

OVERVIEW

ACAF Systems' Advanced Protection for Critical Power Assets

ACAF delivers advanced Compressed Air Foam technology engineered for the complex fire risks found in power generation and transmission environments. Every system is purposely built to match the transformer layout, hazard profile, and operational constraints of the facility, including offshore platforms where space is limited and performance cannot fail.

To support these conditions, ACAF offers compact offshore CAF skids designed to integrate into tight platform modules while providing complete transformer protection. With hundreds of installations worldwide, ACAF Systems have proven their reliability in demanding locations, including offshore facilities operating in severe North Sea conditions.

ACAF POWER INDUSTRY SOLUTIONS

ACAF Fixed Spray System

An object based CAF protection system designed to cover the entire transformer or electrical asset with a uniform foam application. Using HDN-5 and or DN-7 CAF nozzles, the system discharges Compressed Air Foam directly onto all critical surfaces, providing full coverage, rapid cooling, and strong vapor control across the complete hazard area.

ACAF Deluge System

A system configuration that discharges foam from HDN-5 and DN-7 CAF nozzles installed in the pendent or horizontal position to cover the hazard area. This design delivers fast and concentrated CAF application to rapidly suppress ignitable liquid fires .

ACAF Multi Zone Protection System

A single CAF generator can protect multiple transformers or equipment areas using independent nozzle groups. This supports configurations of 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 nozzles in pendent and or horizontal positions.

Custom Engineered ACAF Transformer Solution

ACAF designs custom CAF systems for Onshore and Offshore facilities, offering skid mounted units in stainless steel or carbon steel that fit within platform and yard space limitations. These systems are engineered to meet the specific layout, environmental, and performance requirements of each installation.
