RimShot is a fully automatic CAF system designed to extinguish floating rooftop tank Rimseal fires in their infancy.
A self-contained CAF generator, combined with special Rimseal nozzles and thermal linear heat detection, provides a system that protect the entire Rimseal space of a floating rooftop tank. When activated, the system will automatically discharge Compressed Air Foam into the Rimseal void filling the space within seconds. Flooding of the Rimseal space with high quality Compressed Air Foam provides a blanket of foam that quickly extinguishes a fire and protects against re-flash.
